How is the total price of the ride calculated?
Our pricing is simple: the hourly rate is always the same - only the minimum hire duration changes, increasing the farther your furthest point is from central Paris.
For instance, the minimum is three hours in Paris, four hours in the surrounding region, 10 hours for Champagne and Normandy, and 12 hours for the Loire Valley châteaux. So if you extend your trip to a farther point, both the minimum hire duration and the total price increase.
The minimum hire duration is the floor you pay for - in full, even if your actual trip is shorter. In that case you can simply make the most of the time you’ve paid for, for example by spending longer at your stops. You can also book more hours than the minimum, which increases the total price accordingly. Check our minimum hire duration rules here.
What if I just need to go from point A to point B?

What happens if my trip lasts longer than expected?
Our driver will tell you at what time you should start heading back to the drop-off point to arrive on time and avoid extra charges. We use GPS with live traffic information, so the return trip accounts for any traffic. If you follow your driver's advice and start heading back at the time suggested, there will be no extra charge even in case of delay; otherwise, extra charges apply as described below.
If you would like to extend the duration, this is usually possible if your driver's schedule allows it. You will be charged per quarter of an hour. For instance, if the price per hour is €50, you will be charged €50 / 4 = €12.50 per quarter of an hour. So if your trip is 15 minutes longer than expected you will pay €12.50 extra; 30 minutes longer, €25; and so on.
When does the service time count start and stop, and how does waiting time work?
If pick-up is in the city, the countdown of the service duration begins when the car arrives at the specified address on time. If the car is late, the time count starts at the moment of meeting your driver. Waiting time, luggage loading and unloading time are included in the service duration. The duration count stops when you leave the car at the arrival point and your luggage is unloaded.
If you arrive by airplane or by train, two scenarios are possible:
1. If you indicated the flight/train arrival time in your booking form: At the airport, your driver will wait for you one hour from the moment of flight arrival, and the service countdown starts when you meet your driver. At the train station, your driver will wait 15 minutes from the moment of train arrival, and the countdown starts when you meet your driver. In these cases, the waiting time is free and is not included in the service duration.
2. If you indicated a pick-up time at the airport or train station: If the time indicated in the booking form differs from the flight/train arrival time, we presume you indicated the pick-up time. Your driver will meet you at the time you indicated, which is when the service begins. If your driver is late, the countdown starts when you meet. You pay only for the time you consumed, and your driver will notify you by phone of any delay. If you are late, the waiting time is subtracted from the service duration, and your driver will wait only if you let him know about your delay and that you have arrived safely. That is why it is important to provide a valid mobile number with country code and to turn on your phone as soon as you land in France.
Will I incur any extra charges if my plane is delayed?
No, we monitor your flight's progress and will adjust your vehicle's arrival time accordingly, ensuring there are no extra charges for delays.
What if my flight or train delay is more than one hour?
We understand that sometimes it could happen. If you anticipate that your flight or train will be delayed by more than an hour, please notify us as soon as possible via e-mail, SMS, or phone call. Depending on vehicle availability, we can either reschedule the start of our service to a later time or cancel it without any penalty.
Are taxes, tolls and parking fees included in the price?
All taxes, bridge and road tolls, and parking fees are included in the instant online quotes provided on our website - except Eurotunnel or Ferry tickets for journeys to and from the UK, which are invoiced separately at cost. For transfers between the UK and continental Europe, please make your booking at least 48 hours before the pick-up time.
What is the difference between the Car with Driver service and a long-distance private transfer?
The difference is what you pay for.
Car with Driver service is when you hire a car with a driver and pay on a per-hour basis for the time the car is at your disposal, for riding and for waiting at stops. During booking, you indicate the furthest point you want to reach and the approximate addresses of stops. You don't have to specify the duration of each stop, and you can add or remove stops during the trip. The furthest point you choose sets the minimum hire duration, and therefore the minimum price.
In the case of private transfers and taxi services, you pay a fixed price for the ride over a certain distance between point A and point B, on a per-mile/kilometer basis. Short stops for restrooms and quick snacks are free; longer stops for sightseeing or visits are charged separately.

What is your cancellation policy?
We will accept any cancellation without a fine if you make it at least 24 hours before the pickup.
No-show: A 100% charge applies if you do not show up for the scheduled service.
Cancellations must be communicated via email or phone, especially if the scheduled service is imminent.
Can I modify or change my booking?
Modifications are free: time or date of the pick-up, addresses, route and stops, and number of passengers. If you change the furthest destination of your trip, it may increase or decrease the distance from Paris and therefore the minimum hire duration - which will accordingly increase or decrease the total price. Any booking change must be made by email, or by phone if the service is about to start. Changes during the trip with your driver may be accepted if the driver's schedule allows it.
What happens if the car I booked is unavailable?
If the Economy class car you booked is unavailable, we reserve the right to provide a similar or upgraded vehicle.
When will I receive confirmation of my booking?
You will receive three emails confirming your booking. On your first booking with us, you will also receive a welcome email containing your login and password.
- First: an automatic email confirming that our system received your booking.
- Second: an email from our manager confirming that we accept your booking.
- Third: once the journey has been assigned to a driver, this email will contain the phone number, name and picture of your driver.
What should I do if I haven't received confirmation and my service is starting soon?
First, check your spam folder. If the confirmation email is not there, please call us at +33 7 82 30 62 95 and we will deal with your booking as quickly as possible.
