Can I do a day trip from Paris to Bruges with a private driver?
Yes. With our same-day return fare, you pay the one-way fare plus waiting time in Bruges, and the drive back to Paris is free. Waiting costs €70 per hour for an SW, sedan or minivan and €90 per hour for a van, charged by the quarter hour.
For example, leaving Paris at 8 am with about 6 hours in Bruges, a day trip costs about €503 + 6 × €70 = €923 by SW or sedan, or €588 + 6 × €90 = €1,128 by van, and you are back in Paris around 8:30 pm. The free return applies when your pick-up and your return drop-off are anywhere in the Paris region.
If your day trip starts in Bruges (Bruges - Paris - Bruges), the return is charged as a second one-way fare.
Can I add stops or detours on my way to Bruges?
Yes. When booking a ride from point A to point B, you can adapt your itinerary as you wish: add up to 8 stops or detours, and specify how long you wish to stay at each. At the end of the booking process, you will see the all-inclusive price, covering all detours and waiting time at stops.

How much does a long-distance ride between Paris and Bruges cost?
A private transfer between central Paris and central Bruges costs €503 by SW or sedan (up to 3 passengers), €639 by minivan (premium comfort, up to 4) and €588 by van (up to 8 passengers), which is just €73.50 per person when 8 people share the van. The price is the same in both directions. The distance is 297 km (184 miles) and the drive takes about 3 hours 15 minutes.

Can I modify my booking?
Yes - modifications are free of charge: the date of the pick-up, the addresses, the route and stops, or the number of passengers. Changing the pick-up time is free too, unless the new time is late at night or very early in the morning, which may increase the price slightly.
As our prices are based on distance, changing an address or adding a detour may increase or decrease the distance, and therefore the total price. Just let us know by email, or by phone if your transfer is about to start. For our cancellation policy, please see the FAQ below.

For up to 3 passengers, choose the station wagon or sedan, or the Executive (Mercedes C-Class) for a more upmarket ride; on long journeys, we recommend no more than 3 passengers in these cars, for comfort. For a group of 4, choose the more spacious premium Minivan; for 5 to 8 passengers, the Van, which also gives the lowest price per person.
How much Luggage Can You Take With You?
#1 The Van VW Caravelle luggage trunk dimensions
There are two basic configurations of luggage and passenger space for an 8-seater van.
A. Standard configuration: when all passenger seats are available and there is room for 12 medium-sized or about 24 small-sized suitcases in the luggage compartment.
B. Folded configuration: when the two rear rows of seats are folded down and only 3 passenger seats are available: two in the front next to the driver and one on the middle row of seats. With this configuration, you can fit for instance 3 racing bicycles and 7 suitcases of big size or only 15 big-sized suitcases. As you can see in the picture, the trunk can easily fit two racing bikes and one large bag.

How do we calculate the total price for our long-distance taxis and transfers?
We follow a simple principle: the longer the distance, the lower the price per mile or kilometre. Our standard rate is based on the fastest route calculated by Google Maps between your departure and arrival points. For one-way journeys, the total distance also includes the return trip to our base in central Paris.

1 kilometre = 0.6214 mile
1 mile = 1.609 kilometres
Please note: the minimum distance for a booking is 30 km (19 mi). For shorter distances, a fixed price applies.
We offer three types of tariff:
1. One-way: standard rate based on distance, per kilometre or mile. The total distance includes the return to our base in Paris.
2. Same-day return: pay only the outward fare plus a waiting charge for every 15 minutes; the return trip is free. This is the most economical option if you travel to and from the same destination on the same day. The return drop-off address must be anywhere in the Paris region.
3. Return on another day: multiply the one-way fare by two.
Waiting charges:
If you need a taxi or transfer with waiting time or multiple stops - for example, travelling to one city or address where we wait for you before continuing to the next destination - a waiting charge is added to your fare. Waiting charges are quoted per hour, but you pay for every quarter of an hour you use. The waiting rates are: Sedan / Station Wagon (SW) / Minivan: €70 per hour; Van: €90 per hour.
Please note: short comfort stops of up to 15 minutes along your route - for example, a restroom break or a quick snack at a motorway service station we are already passing - are free of charge. Longer stops, or stops where the driver waits while you visit a place, are subject to the waiting charge described above.
Travel to and from the United Kingdom
For journeys to and from the UK, the price shown on our instant quote and booking form does not include the Eurotunnel or ferry ticket, nor the pet fee if you travel with an animal. The total cost of this transfer has a fixed part for our transport service and a variable part for the Eurotunnel or ferry crossing. A deposit equal to the crossing ticket price is required. How to Meet Your Driver
If your pick-up is at an airport or a train station, your driver will be waiting for you with a nameplate.
At the airport: your driver will meet you in the arrivals hall, just in front of the exit from the baggage claim area.
At the train station: your driver will be waiting for you at the head end of your train, near the locomotive.
At a hotel or another address: your driver will wait for you at the door, or at the nearest point a car can reach if the street is pedestrian, as in parts of central Bruges.
You will recognise your driver by the nameplate with your name on it. In the confirmation email, we send you your driver's name and phone number, so you can reach them in case of any unforeseen circumstances, such as lost luggage.
Your driver will wait for you for one hour from the arrival of your flight or train. If you are delayed - for example by slow passport control or a wait at baggage claim - just call or send an SMS to let your driver know you have arrived, and no extra waiting charge will apply. Your driver will then help with your suitcases and escort you to your vehicle, ready for your journey.

Stops for sightseeing on the way

Longer stops are charged as waiting time: €70 per hour for an SW, sedan or minivan and €90 per hour for a van, by the quarter hour. Here are some places worth a stop, in the order you meet them when driving from Paris to Bruges.
#1 Château de Chantilly and its Great Stables
About 50 km (30 miles) north of Paris and a short detour from the A1 motorway, the Château de Chantilly is one of the most beautiful castles near Paris. Its Musée Condé holds one of France's finest collections of paintings, especially French paintings and illuminated manuscripts of the 15th and 16th centuries.
The formal gardens were laid out mainly by André Le Nôtre, the gardener of Versailles, and the Great Stables (Grandes Écuries) house the Living Museum of the Horse. Allow at least 2 hours to see the château and its gardens.
#2 Old Lille (Vieux-Lille) and the Grand Place
Lille is where the A1 motorway ends, about 220 km (137 miles) from Paris and 75 km (47 miles) before Bruges: the ideal place for a lunch break. On the Grand Place stands the Old Stock Exchange (Vieille Bourse), built in 1652-1653 in Flemish Renaissance style: 24 houses around an inner courtyard where booksellers set up their stalls.
From there, the cobbled streets of Old Lille, lined with Flemish-style brick houses, shops and restaurants, are a short walk away. Allow 1 to 2 hours for a walk and a meal.
#3 Loppem Castle (Kasteel van Loppem)
When you travel from Paris to Bruges, you reach the city on the E403 motorway, which passes close to Loppem, about 6 km (4 miles) south of the city centre. Loppem Castle (Château de Lophem in French) was built between 1859 and 1863 by E.W. Pugin and Jean-Baptiste Bethune, and it is a masterpiece of Gothic Revival architecture.
The castle still has its original, richly decorated interior, with paintings, stained glass and statues, and a romantic park with ponds and a maze. King Albert I stayed here at the end of the First World War, in October and November 1918. It has been a museum open to visitors since 1975: see the opening days on the Loppem Castle website.
#4 Tillegem Castle (Kasteel Tillegem)
Tillegem Castle (Château de Tilleghem in French) stands in Sint-Michiels, on the southern edge of Bruges, about 4 km (2.5 miles) from the city centre and close to the E403. Its oldest parts date from the 14th century, and it is still surrounded by its moat. At the end of the 19th century, its front wing received a neo-Gothic façade and a new tower.
Since 1980, the castle has belonged to the Province of West Flanders. It stands in the Tillegem woods (Tillegembos), with walking trails around the castle and its moat: a good place to stretch your legs before or after the drive. More about Tillegem Castle on Wikipedia.
#5 Damme Golf & Country Club near Bruges
For golfers, the Damme Golf & Country Club is about 7 km (4 miles) east of Bruges, in Sijsele (Damme): a short detour after you arrive in Bruges or before you leave. Opened in 1987, it offers an 18-hole championship course (par 72), the 9-hole President's course (par 36), a 9-hole compact course and practice facilities. Visitors are welcome, with tee times booked in advance on the Damme Golf website.

How far is Bruges from Paris, and how long does the drive take?
Central Bruges is about 297 km (184 miles) from central Paris. By private car, the drive takes about 3 hours 15 minutes door to door, almost entirely on motorways via Lille. Allow extra time at rush hour around Paris and Lille.
Is there a direct train from Paris to Bruges?
No. You take a Eurostar train from Paris Gare du Nord to Brussels, then change to a Belgian (SNCB) train to Bruges. The train journey takes about 2 hours 45 minutes, plus the time to reach Gare du Nord and to get from Bruges station to your hotel. A private transfer takes about 3 hours 15 minutes from your door in Paris to your hotel in Bruges, with no change and no luggage to carry between trains.
Is a private transfer cheaper than the train between Paris and Bruges?
For a group, it often is. Our price is per vehicle, not per person, so the more of you share the car, the less each person pays:

By train, each adult needs a Eurostar ticket from Paris Gare du Nord to Brussels (Standard fares from €29, but often much more when booked close to the date) and a Belgian train ticket from Brussels to Bruges (€17.60 in 2nd class). Booked weeks ahead, the train is cheaper per person. Booked late, or for a group with luggage that also needs taxis to Gare du Nord and from Bruges station, the van often costs about the same or less, and it takes you door to door with no change in Brussels. Do you also drive from Bruges to Paris or Charles de Gaulle airport?
Yes. Your driver picks you up at your hotel or any address in Bruges, or at Bruges railway station, and takes you to any address in Paris or to Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Orly (ORY) or Beauvais (BVA) airport. We understand that sometimes it could happen. If you anticipate that your flight or train will be delayed by more than an hour, please notify us as soon as possible via e-mail, SMS, or phone call. Depending on vehicle availability, we can either reschedule the start of our service to a later time or cancel it without any penalty.
Are taxes, tolls and parking fees included in the price?
All taxes, bridge and road tolls, and parking fees are included in the instant online quotes provided on our website - except Eurotunnel or ferry tickets for journeys to and from the UK, which are invoiced separately at cost. For transfers between the UK and continental Europe, please make your booking at least 48 hours before the pick-up time.
What is your cancellation policy?
We will accept any cancellation without a fine if you make it at least 24 hours before the pickup.
No-show: A 100% charge applies if you do not show up for the transfer.
Cancellations must be communicated via email or phone, especially if the transfer is imminent.
Can I book a transfer now and make changes or add a stop later?
Yes, you can request changes to your booking via email. If the transfer is imminent, please call us directly. Changes to your itinerary can be made free of charge. However, please note that any modifications to the route may affect the distance and, consequently, the price. Moving the pick-up to late at night or very early in the morning may also increase the price slightly.
What happens if the car I booked is unavailable?
When you book an Economy class car, we reserve the right to provide a similar or upgraded vehicle if your selected car is unavailable. If we upgrade your vehicle for this reason, the price stays the same. The price changes only if you ask for a higher class of vehicle yourself.
When will I receive confirmation of my booking?
You will receive three emails confirming your booking:
1. Initial Confirmation: An automatic email confirming that your booking has been recorded by our system.
2. Booking Acceptance: An email from our manager confirming that your booking has been accepted.
3. Driver Assignment: Once a driver has been assigned to your journey, you will receive an email with the driver's name, phone number, and photo.
For your first booking on our website, you will also receive a welcome email with your login and password.
